Kawaii Swim is a soulful swimwear brand inspired by the vibrant beauty of both African-American and Japanese heritage. Founded by Angel Morét, a mixed woman of Creole and Japanese descent, fashion lover, and former TV presenter & stylist on the viral fashion show NAYVA, this brand is a celebration of cultural duality, divine femininity, and global sisterhood.
The word “Kawaii” かわいい, meaning cute in Japanese, embodies softness, strength, and bold expression. At Kawaii Swim, we blend anime influences, archival fabrics, and powerful storytelling to create ethical, sustainable swimwear that turns heads and sparks change. Built by a woman for women, especially women of color—to feel seen, sexy, and powerful.
